With Dry Lift storage solutions we combine our unique Drying and Handling techniques to create a high-quality, reliable storage solution. Dry Lift is developed in close collaboration with our partners which allows us to offer you a proven Dry Storage Solution.

By combining the drying techniques of Totech EU and proven VLM systems we created a Dry Storage Solution for large volumes on a small footprint.

Incoming MSL materials are usually stored in Moisture Barrier Bags (MBBs). Within our philosophy the moisture sensitive parts are removed from this packaging, given a unique ID and then stored in a controlled storage environment without an MBB.
They are now ready to be processed directly into production. This will reduce a lot of handling and handling costs during operation.

When Dry Lift storage solutions is connected with Totech Storage Manager software, it allows you to have a fully traceable process for handling your MSL level components from warehouse to the pre and post- production phase.

Dry Lift Basic

Non-automated Dry Lift storage solution

Dry Lift basic is a vertical lift module that is equipped with insulating panels and a guillotine door that covers the lift opening. This creates an airtight Storage Solution. This technique can also be applied to existing Vertical Lift modules.
By using this door, you will get a sluice function as the shutter will be closed when this door opens. This to prevent the interaction of ambient and dry air. Using the drying technique of Totech EU, you have the optimal storage conditions for your MSD’s. Optionally we can add cooling, heating and nitrogen.

Dry Lift Basic is the most standard version available. We vision the Dry Lift Basic to be used in the warehouse or on the production floor at customers who want a centralized location of many parts and where picks are still made by hand.

What makes the Dry Lift Basic unique is the flexibility of storing all kinds of parts, big or small, reels or boxes in a dry atmosphere without the need for large floorspace or long walking routes.

A big advantage is that we can upgrade your current vertical lift to a Dry Lift Basic.*

Dry Lift Plus

Semi-automated Dry Lift storage solution

The Dry Lift Plus can be compared to the Basic-version but has a strong focus on reels*. The standard trays from the basic lift will be equipped with reel inlays. The inlays make sure you can store all reels vertically which makes it a very “reel friendly” solution, stored in the most optimal way.

To make the picking process more efficient we make use of pick-by-light, to guide operators to the exact locations of the product they want to pick.

The Plus-version can’t work without our Storage Manager software, because this makes sure that the right locations are lid up when scanning your picklist items.

When optimizing the process and connecting this software to your ERP/MES systems it will automatically bring the right tray with correct parts forward when your system demands this according to the production planning.

Dry Lift Pro

Fully automated Dry Lift storage solution

The Dry Lift Pro is the most automated version of the Dry Lift product range, this is a fully automated solution where a robot-arm will take care of the picks in the vertical lift opening. There is no manual handling needed in this process. Store in and take out are fully automated.

This robot-arm addition can also be installed for existing vertical lift systems so that a semi-automated (dry) solution is turned into a fully automated solution. This can be done for any basic lift, also without drying technology.

The Dry Lift Pro can be used as a buffer for our Dry Tower solutions. Meaning that when the Dry Tower is going to be running short in a particular part number, the lift can foresee and deliver the right part to be stored in the tower, at the right time.

This can be done in multiple ways, for example:

1- Using a hand-trolley, to be pushed by a person

2- Automated conveyor belts which end up in the Dry Tower

3- AMR’s

This makes the connection from warehouse to production even stronger, without the need for personnel to find, pick, unpack and re-locate parts manually.
